Thnks Fr Th Mmr

Had real fond memories from OBS.. Cheng Ho 27/8/07 - 31/8/07

[Day 1]

Dad gave Sean, Aaron and I a ride to Punggol Jetty, saving us a long journey. Got there at 7.30, only to leave for Pulau Ubin at 10 something. Stupid timing. Sent my last few messages to my angel before I had no more use of the handphone.

Got there and we were introduced to our instructors. Our instructor was Gek Fong. Everyone called her Fongfong x) I heard another instructor say some other people call her GF. I wasn't going to use that, I'm attached. (Mushy, so shoot me) We got all the store stuff ready for activities then we started with teambonding games. Played the stupid arm tanglement thing. We couldn't do it cause we just aren't flexible. A lot of cheating ensued though.

Fong asked us to count how many steps it took to reach our campsite and I just said "101" without ever climbing it. Nice to have friends who have gone before. Hahas. Pitched our tents and cooked. Fong helped us cook rice and mixed it with baked beans and sardines. Was quite nice but most of the watch didn't eat it as they didn't like sardines. They ate plain rice. More for me XD

[Day 2]
Lessons for our sea ex! I was the sea ex leader. Was afraid I would get the whole mobile lost. Luckily I wasn't the navigator. Then we got jammed by cat 1 status like until 2pm and chiong to our campsite. Got there just in time to pitch our tents before dark. Sentry was fun. Scared toilet got ghost. We were like super worried cause 7 month.

Marcus freaked us out by doing something freaking sick in the tent. We screamed. It has something to do with guys and genitals. Use your imagination. I'm still shivering . In a tent with 3 other guys man, show some self control.

[Day 3]
Woke up next morning and played some showdown game. Fencing, sumo wrestling and wrestling. Hahas. All using.. FINGERS! Haha. Then we set off again, this time I was in a single man kayak. Oh man, it was dam tiring. I was like at the back until our cat 1 stop again. What is it with the weather man. So we got to our rock-as-peg campsite at like 4 something. We took like only 6 hours! Faster than expected. Halfway through there were dam big waves and I ALMOST capsized 4 times. (Talk about luck)

[Day 4]

We played some stupid attack and defend game. Our watch kena the "Ah Lians". We have to wave our hands and hips to attack other groups. In the end we sabo the other group till they penalty 25 jumping jacks. We clean record hahas.

Set off for the trek. I was so tired even carrying the lightest bag was tiring. Helped to carry a tent for a while. We managed to get there first even though we set off last.

Team challenge back at camp 2. Giant skip count: 28! We won the key punch by like 0.05 seconds. How close was that? Take 1 second and divide that by 20 times. We rocked. But got bluffed into think there was a reward for being first back to camp and in the games. Grr. Finally got to shower. Although powder bath quite fun also x)

We had nightwalk. Alone, no torchlights, no lightsticks, in a dark deserted forest path. I was dam scared that there would be a ghost. Then I heard footsteps behind me. Didn't see anyone. Panic attack, thought to myself "Just think of the footsteps as my angel behind me" walked the whole distance. Found that Tri was the one behind me and he caught up to me and I was hearing his footsteps just that I couldn't see him. I was like "I was so worked up over that? -3 lines appear on face-"

[Day 5]

Slacked and bought our OBS shirt. Went back to mainland, ate KFC with Johnathan and Marcus. Went to Lot1 to meet Angel. She was eating until I had to go home. Saw her for like a few seconds only T.T Better than never, at least.

Going for obs tmr, so this is my last post before i leave. I am going miss my angel for the 5 days, but at least when I get back we'll be going on our first date <3

Don't feel like going, yet anticipating the fun. Am I going crazy? Somehow my bag is about to burst but it's still quite light -.- Didn't have time to get water booties, so I'm just going to use my old track shoes. Hmm. Gotta sleep early tonight. I have to leave for Punggol Jetty at like 5.30am. I should be sleeping at that time T.T

Today was quite fun. Slacked mostly.
The obs instructor came to give a briefing before we went on mon. We were shocked to hear "Miss" she had a durian hair and I thought she was a guy when I walked in. Then she explain that the obs instructors shaved their hair to support the Children's Cancer Foundation. At least got good reason ._.

Leaving for obs on mon, when I don't want to, so many things I'd rather be doing. And what kind of name is Cheng Ho? At least I'm with people I know. Something special happened at midnight but I don't want to make it public knowledge ><

Got our phones back today, finally after 6 weeks. We were basically delayed for training so Masters' Parade was postponed to 5pm. Then those who did not have their badges sewn on properly had to go sew them on properly, so I went there to slack.

Going to get the stuff I need for obs tomorrow. Tuition, come back, let my mom drive me mad with chinese. How fun.

Rather slack day today. Played rugby for PE, totally mudded my shoes. Crap.

Wasted time during English. Ms Chia couldn't get the video to work or the sound. So end up wasted 40 minutes. Haha. Then chinese, my god. Total crap. Stupid TTH come in and started kao pehing people about the corrections. I left my test paper in class yesterday so had to stay back after school to do it.. Dumb shit.

Chem practical.. Totally screwed up. Don't want to go in to too much details. Let's just say I have to start using litmus paper =) And in the rush to eat, I didn't have time to check my SS marks. Ah dam. Watched some global warming video for RME. Super slack, almost fell asleep. After that was Bio, REALLY fell asleep. Siew Mai can't teach for nuts. Her voice and that stupid radio box just puts people to sleep. History was fun. Didn't compile notes and didn't get sent out either xD

Getting back the History results tomorrow, and maybe our phones too. Dammit man we were supposed to get it back on monday. Stupid stupid stupid.

[Monday]

Went to TMH to get a Black Tiger deck. Aw man the black face is so cool! It's just provides that extra visual stun for magic! Looks nice when you farrow it back and face together too.

PSE got dragged like fuck. Stupid Indian dance. Amos went up on stage. Cool man. He was so pro at it xD Too bad we didn't have cams with us. Good laughs!

[Saturday]

Went to buy cardtoon in the morning. Mum just gave me $50 and said that was my extra cash for the month.. and i used it all in one day -.- Went to Edward's farewell at night. Had lots of satay. Let's just say I don't trust what my friends cook x)
Had fun imitating teachers and classmates.Everyone sang perfect again. Really become class anthem. Wth.
We dunked Amos in the pool and jumped in ourselves be4 any1 come after us. Played captain ball in the water -.-

[Monday]
Slack day sia. hardly did anything for chinese. Then we were entertaining the china delegates for english.

Aaron, Nigel and I did magic tricks =) We rocked! Can become the next Criss Angel. Sean kao peh me ask me why I cnnot do same trick in front of he same people.. Outsider dun get it =D

Then, this idiot china guy, just watch and say "I see before le. Change trick" or just keep saying what we are doing to spoil the magic. Bloody arse. His friend never see be4 right? Felt like whacking him sia. So we just got them to f off and we perform for another group. Grr. Seriously.

And I heard the typical Perfect being sung again. Seriously, why is every1 addicted to that song?

Was sick yesterday, so I din go school =P

Only lesson that was interesting was English. Got to practise the card tricks we're performing on monday for the chinese delegates. Then Daisy Chia wanted to see what each group was doing, so we had to perform. Aaron force me go first -.- The PRC short fart became our volunteer for the tricks. Did my trick, a bit slowly x) den got the card out but the idiot PRC say wrong card -.- I din c n i'm more sure that it was his card lah. the cockster. cannot tell 4 of spades from 4 of clubs (or according to him,4 flower -rolls eyes-)

Training! Super slack lah today. Patrol training but I only got 2 juniors who came down -.- in the end combine with Elf, Jack Sparrow and GT. Wanted to do footdrill (can pump ppl more xD) but ened up doing knots. So wasted one hour letting them practise while the 4 of us slack =P

so after that got treasure hunt -.- sec3s must take part also. den walk all over the school just to find out the stupid daddy (only in cca..) duno his checkpoint was d correct one and sent us going all over the place (f*** you =P) so den last checkpoint was Jai leh's dum cock up game. (seriously lah, wth has cao cao got to do with the training? -.-)

aft dat went home n slack somemore =P
